Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.
Set 25 introduces many new things including our first ever 3 Symbol Mission. What does having 3 Symbols mean? Well for starters you’ll have an easier time paying for its Hand cost as well as it being very versatile Chakra.
The best part of “The Leaf Council (M-892)” is its 3 effects of which you get to apply 1 when you play it. Fire is the home of efficient search effects like those of “Long Awaited Reinforcements (M-411)”, “Make-Out Tactics (M-666)”, and “Make-out Paradise (M-756)”. It’s not a surprise that this Mission’s first option allows you to search your Deck for any Fire Ninja whose Entrance cost is lower than your Turn Marker. The longer the game progress the more options this Mission can search out for.
The second effect of “The Leaf Council (M-892)” is reminiscent of “Tragic Destiny (M-629)” which allows you to resurrect a Ninja card back from your Discard Pile as your deployment for the turn.
The final effect is like “Bonds of Friendship (M-669)”, allowing you to draw two new cards as long as you move one card in hand to your Chakra area.
While each effect is solid, together their versatility makes this Mission super! If you like this Mission than you’ll be happy to hear that Set 25 contains a cycle of these Missions so make sure to collect them all!
