Series 25 Preview “Naruto Uzumaki (N-1453)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

Today’s last preview come from the Series 25 “Sand Siblings” Theme Deck, no Starter would be complete without an appearance from Naruto or Sasuke. This Starter has its very own Naruto, let’s see how he stacks up!

This Shippuden Naruto is a Turn 3 Ninja card, with the usual “Clone Status” Characteristic, “Oil” Combat Attribute, and both the Lightning and Wind Symbols.

What makes this Naruto different from the rest of the pack is his monstrous Combat values. While healthy, Naruto has 5 Combat which is strong for a Turn 3 Ninja, but injure him and his angry bumps him to a whooping 8 Combat. Comat this high is normally reserved for Turn 6 Ninjas like Tsunade.

Every positive is not without its negative, and each Ninja in your Village holds Naruto back by lowering his combat by -1 for each of them.

Naruto works best when he works alone, and while making a Deck to take advantage of having few Ninjas in play may seem hard (possibly Anbu?), it will still be fun to see this Naruto rampage around in a Starter Deck tournaments where he is still a force to be reckoned with.

Make sure to visit the forums and share your own opinions on today’s previews.

Tomorrow will be the Series 25 “Ino-Shika-Cho” Theme Deck list, but if you want to see what the Starter Exclusive Super Rare is for this and the other Starter…well you’ll have to wait till Friday for that.
To combat the growing threat of Uchiha Madara, the Kages from the Villages of Stone, Leaf, Sand, Mist, and Cloud gather together to address this unprecedented force. Series 25 contains loads of new Ninjas, and 5 exceptional SR Missions to commemorate this historic alliance.

But that’s not all! Set 25 contains support for Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Weapon, Cloud, Puppet, Tailed Beast, and Ink Decks. This amazing Set also pushes Decks to combine 3 or more symbols for a whole other level of power!Make sure to check the “Set 25 – Kage Summit” Thread in the forums for polls and discussion of these great cards.

Enjoy!
