Series 25 Preview “Bartender Cat (N-1436)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25Kage Summit”.

We’ll be taking a stroll on the wild side today by looking at three “Animal” Ninjas with the Fire symbol. First up is “Bartender Cat (N-1436)”, by paying him a Fire, Lightning, or Water Chakra he’ll search your Deck for a non-AMBUSH card of one of the listed Symbols and serve it right to your Chakra area. This helps in two ways; first it allows you to pay for Jutsu or effects with mixed Chakra cost. Second, it thins your Deck of unwanted cards.

This trashing ability has been seen on cards like “Utakata (N-1353)”“Kidomaru (N-1465)”, “Shino Aburame (N-1476)”, and “Tenten (N-1426)”; while it places you at risk to Mill Decks it does improve your chances of not missing drops or drawing crucial Missions or Jutsus later in the game when you may no longer want to draw early game Ninjas. This crucial strategy is employed in Deck Building Games and works equally well in the Naruto CCG.

If this isn’t your cat then fret not since Set 25 contains a cycle of this type of Ninja effect for all five of the main Symbols.

Man boxing a kangaroo is a peculiar spectacle. But a kangaroo boxing a robot? Now I’m afraid you’ve lost me.“ ―Theodore Roosevelt

To combat the growing threat of Uchiha Madara, the Kages from the Villages of Stone, Leaf, Sand, Mist, and Cloud gather together to address this unprecedented force. Series 25 contains loads of new Ninjas, and 5 exceptional SR Missions to commemorate this historic alliance.

But that’s not all! Set 25 contains support for Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Weapon, Cloud, Puppet, Tailed Beast, and Ink Decks. This amazing Set also pushes Decks to combine 3 or more symbols for a whole other level of power!

Make sure to check the “Set 25 – Kage Summit” Thread in the forums for polls and discussion of these great cards.

Enjoy!
