Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.
“Akatsuchi (N-1432)” one many brand-new Ninjas to appear in Series 25. He is one of two bodyguards for the 3rd Tsuchikage his size is backed up by his two powerful effects which lend more power to multi-Symbol Decks. Let’s take a look at the skills of a Stone Village Ninja.
His first effect is “Left Behind (M-036)” on a Ninja, and all it requires is that you have another Wind Ninja in your Village. Removing a Ninja from a team can weaken their side just enough for you to swing with your best team(s) and gain some tempo.
The second effect on this “Jonin” Ninja is more difficult to get off unless you dedicate yourself to a multi colored Deck, but if you do you can injure a Ninja with an Entrance cost of 3 or less when this behemoth enters play, and a free injury is nothing to scoff at.
Like always, if you meet both conditions you can trigger both effects when he floats into play.
It’s important to note that Akatsuchi’s strong six Combat makes him an ideal Head Ninja, so I always make room for this substantial Ninja in my multi-Symbol Deck.
