This is a legitimate question and it has to do with the official Naruto CCG Player Ban List, I guess it should have no problem being here in gen disc. Anyway, on to the question.

Who is this Anthony Hernandez and why is he permabanned from tourneys?

Also, why did the other two get banned till the same date?

Ok, so judging by the name of the thread, aka the nickname Banthony, you have more knowledge of this incident than you are letting on. As such, I can only assume you're baiting out what can only result in an argument of some sort. In other words, this thread is just an attempt at stirring up old problems. Also I am pretty sure you're an alt account of someone's. I don't know exactly who yet, but I will be sure to update on who when I figure it out.

Well, I thought it was somewhat witty as he was permabanned and his name's Anthony and I remember that a couple of minutes ago I was browsing a pack pulls thread, I believe it was the set 27 one and I think someone mentioned that nickname, I caught that with the corner of my eye scrolling down, then I saw the player ban list and since the memory was vivid, I decided to say banthony in an attempt to be witty and guessing the veterans of this would know what I'm talking about, although I know nothing about the incident. Oh, I'm no alt account. I joined the forums in 2008, before that, I'd only get on for previews and not sign in or anything, haha. I have nothing to hide, do your research on my older posts if possible. I am who I am.


Oh, and I'm an old-school semi-casual, semi-competitive player. I've topped and have some locals under my belt. I started playing at PTH. I got called last week by my old team and we're hitting up a local tomorrow, my first local in so many months, oh boy.

I'll give my reasons for starting this thread. I saw the banlist and I'm pretty sure I saw it when it was empty, long ago and I feel like the people that are banned have a story behind why they were banned, obviously. It's kind of a creepypasta type view that I have on it and I'm interested in knowing the dark stories and history of this card game. I'm expecting that he tried to steal something during a tourney, I guess. I'm not sure. But well, that's it, with all due respect. Hopefully you guys will provide an interesting answer for me to read and I don't get into trouble for being curious.

You're right actually. He attempted to steal five or six bags during the Swiss Rounds of the 2011 NJ Jonin; it was Round 8 I believe. Everyone was tired and no one noticed, however, before he could enter his Prius, several players who were participating in the usage of illegal narcotics caught on and tackled him to the ground. Ironically, these players were deemed heroes until the police came for Banthony. They were then arrested for possession of illegal narcotics. The more you know.

Now that was pretty satisfying. I was thinking to myself, it's a card game, the limit would be stealing so that's what I assumed. Although, interesting story. Actually, what I found that kinda stood out to me is the fact that a group of players would be up to participating in the usage of illegal narcotics during a pretty important tournament where all you wanna do is be focused on so many things, including gameplay, your well being and your surroundings for any funny business. In any case, thanks for the info. If anyone knows about the other two guys, it'd be nice to know.
