Need to Catch Up
 

After the set Invasion, I went on a long hiatus. I would greatly appreciate it if I could be informed on what the metagame is like, what kind of new cards I should know about, new keywords, etc.
I play fire, usually rush style decks, so any information regarding that is also helpful :D

earth is the best because of revitalize (spontaneous tree) fire/x coming in a close 2nd...u can fit pretty much any element into the x spot....thats about it, if ur looking for rush fire/x is where to go

Meta appears to be Fire/X anything (Wind has control, Water has Kabutoolbox.dec, lightning is just near OP) or Earth revitalize. Actually even non revitalize. Perm earth is pretty fierce and I just finished a bit of tweaking on my Ba Sing Se deck.

Then again, Void isn't much of a slouch and there's other decks that CAN work in the right hands. Experiment a bit. It's honestly pretty diverse up in here.

hmm... What's this perm Earth I keep seeing mentioned throughout the board?

*sigh* I just looked up the new keywords... Lot of new ones to remember... :(

perm earth is not good...these kiddies think its good, but it VERY easily stopped and has no real win condition

It's not the best, but its fun to use

I'm honestly just more excited for next format. Lugia EX should be a lot of fun with stuff like Colress Machine and Plasma Frigate.

samurai..wait no, ink..wait, 4th..nahh..

yehh..fire is very powerful since none of their draw card (warhawk)
and jutsu (dragon flames) didn't get limited/banned..not expecting
they were but they're very effective..pretty much what everyone else
is saying..revitalize too..if you like stall, permanent earth is pretty cool
with draw and annoying with chump blockers and dediara invasion to
get BR's and such..

i haven't been around the game as long enough to know your playing
style, but for me..i like to be different..test some of those decks out
and if you don't like them, go for something unique =)
