Since Justin is gone for the rest of the year, you may direct all Q&A questions to this thread, if you so wish.

No, I will not go through the unanswered questions already posted, only what is posted here.

I think it's outrageous that they would take a whole year off.

If I use n1099's(Pain human path) effect, removing 2 cards from a players hand from game, then I negate n1099's effect, do the cards removed return to the players hand at the end of the turn?

They do not.

I'm going to answer this is reverse order, because it is important.

For Naruto, since the cost is to discard the cards, even if an effect causes the action you did to pay the cost to do something else, you are still considered to have paid the cost. In other words, costs can have their ultimate effect replaced. You still fulfilled the cost of the effect, even if the end result was cards going to the bottom of your deck, rather than your discard pile. As such, Naruto will still get his +1.

For After the Battle, drawing cards is dependent on whether you discarded a card or not. This is not a cost, but a sort of Satisfy the conditions of the card as you go through the text. 'In that case' is synonymous with 'If you completed the prior action', so in the case of After the Battle, the effect is pretty much saying "Discard a card. If you discarded a card, draw 3 cards." So no, if you discard a Revitalize card, you do not draw 3 cards, as you did not discard the card. This is why the separation of costs and effects were created. Had After the Battle said "Discard a card. Then, draw 3 cards." Then the draw 3 would not be dependent on the discarding of the card. In that case links the two parts of the effect, making the draw dependent on whether or not you actually discarded a card.

If is able to block two teams, does he get rid of both heads or only one?

Can Counter missions like New Order (M891) discard in-play missions (permanents missions)?

Will the new Kimimaro n1601 affect himself?

I would say Yes, due to the fact that he does not target the Head Ninja (and yes, there is an effect that says Target Head Ninja), he would affect both. I cannot be certain 100% though, as no question like this has actually come up for me to cross reference in the Q&A, but I will update this post if I find anything new.

Missions like New Orders have a target of 1 Mission, which covers both Missions on the chain as well as Missions that are currently in play. So yes, New Orders and the like can target and discard in play Permanent Missions.

Kimimaro's effect would not effect himself, because he has already been deployed by the time that his effect would be active, so he dodges his own effect window.
