Mull to Four: Comparative Strengths: Set 27

So every set we will be discussing the impact of each element on the game. Today we have for you Void. You can check it out here. We'll be discussing each element for the rest of the week so check back everyday. While you're here, discuss how the elements are in regards to the game.

was a good article as always but you did make a mistake about spiral, it only ignores sacrifice for deployment not put in play.

That further emphasizes the fact that it wouldn't work anyway. We at Mull to Four don't read cards.

how did you feel when they put in the wrong animal path, and in your opinion. If the good animal path was in here.

how good would void actually be with all these new cards?

I never liked the Animals in Void to be honest. I felt like they clogged up the deck a little.

Itachi does not draw cards if he discarded himself. Shino's Dad should edit that.

Actually, you do. If his cost was to discard the Ninja you would not draw because he is no longer on the field for his effect to resolve. Since it is all part of the effect, he actually gets the effect. It's an effect that sets a condition within the effect. If that condition is met or fulfilled, you draw the 2 cards.

So for example, if the effect was:

Discard 1 Ninja you control: Draw 2 cards.

And you discarded itself, you would not draw since he is no longer on the field and his effect cannot be resolved.

Since it is:

(0): Discard 1 Ninja you control. In that case, draw 2 cards.

You activate the effect, pay 0, and place the effect on the chain. When resolution occurs, you can discard itself. The effect still resolves, and you draw 2.

Hope this cleared it up.
