I felt the need to create an account after encountering a pretty ridiculous ruling which has no thorough explanation behind it but a million contradictions. So here are my Questions.

1. M-777 says discard 1 card. In that case, draw 3. If i use a revitalize ninja why can I not draw 3 cards?

2. But here we have N-1491. Her effect has her discard top 3 cards to draw 1. If she hits revitalize why can she still draw? Seeing as though revitalize text replaces the act of going to the discard pile so no revitalize card should even know what a discard pile feels like ( thats what the word instead means in english )

3. Not done though. Heres another cutie, N-1335. Discard 1 to draw 1. Pretty similar to After the Battle. If you use a revitalize ninja how come you can draw off of her but not M-777?



Now to the ridiculous ruling. Why the hell does N-1340 work if he moves 3 revitalize ninjas. As stated in the above quote by Laughing_Man, revitalize ninjas are moved to the bottom of the deck INSTEAD ( keyword right there "instead" ) of going to the discard pile. What your basically stating is if 2 non-revitalize cards remain in the deck and TP4 naruto is activated, he still goes +1 because clearly being able to move cards to the discard pile means nothing. Just a waste of text on the card.

Now if the Naruto CCG doesn't follow the english language and has created their own i would like to be informed. I have a chunin coming up and need a solid ruling because each ruling above contradicts one another. Thank You.

The reason , , and work is because even if the cost is replaced, you are still considered to have paid the cost for the effect. m777 does not have a cost. If a card was not discarded, you will not draw 3.
