So I'm thinking about coming back into Block, but I have no idea what's playable.
 

I stopped right after the set after Will of Fire, so I don't know what sets are still in block, what reprints are still legal etc.

During the time I did play I always ran a lightning variant, always was my favorite element, always will be, so can I get some help to what's good right now meta wise, what cards we have at our disposal, prices, sets in block etc.?

Set 22+ is legal. Allreprints and promos are labeled in advanced rulings by Tylar.

Revitalize is trending right now, but a new set may allow a new hero to ascend.

Revitalize may be trending, but Lightning in some way, shape, or form, has been meta for awhile. Usually it's some sort of Lightning/Fire aggro deck. Like ST mentioned though, something new may come when 27 is legal. Void is coming back hard and fast, Fire/Wind is looking boss with JI + Tetragram, and a sleep may lurk in the right Water (or Water/X) build. It's a perfect time to get back into the swing of things IMHO

I'll recommend the same thing I have to others just getting into block:
- If you have the cash to burn, buy a box or two of sets 26 + 27 (when 27 drops) and build a deck from them. Being the newest sets, you should get decent trade bait for whatever you might not need, otherwise there's always troll and toad. Since you said "back into the game" i'll assume you know simple things like deck building/acquiring your own cards.

- If cash is a bit low, I recommend waiting till Set 27 drops and getting 2 of the Pain decks. This will give you a perfect line-up for a void Turn Ramp deck. It's not the easiest to run (Especially since you dropped out before Pain was even brought into the game) but it's pretty sweet. If you're partial to lightning though, there's also a lightning starter for Naruto (Sage Mode). A couple of those + some Set 24 might do ya good as well.
