This Is The Actual Cause....

The point of this thread is to clear up why or what is causing the game to not have a strong player base. These are just opinions and ideas that I've come up with so there's no actual proof of anything I'm about to state/say lol . I'm just going to highlight on three main targets that I see :

Reason #1- The marketing
We all know that bandai is notorious for having some pretty random commercial slots for promoting. They are pretty thrown together ,quite cheezy, and always seem to be rushed.

Solution- Bandai do more advertising through social media , websites, and contests. This is actually being done but could do and be alot better. Basically more effort is needed.

Reason #2- The Prizing
Ahhhh yes the prizing the main reason of being a competitive player. The prizing for this game is ughh well to put it in one word "lame". Bandai has given us the reasoning and we all understand why, so there's not more of a need to elaborate on why the prizing sucks.

Solution- Bandai goes to having a bi-monthly SJC with prizing only pertaining to the game of NARUTO. Meaning no ps3/xbox or whatever they have as prizing now lol and MORE CARDS. The average american household has a gaming console in it , but set 24- 25 lol not so much. Now idk how much it costs bandai to make a set but, I'm sure it'll be less costly towards the company instead of having to give at least $1,100 in bs prize support 12 months. (I'll make a thread on my theory of how prizing should be done.)

Reason # 3- PLAYERS
We as player's of the this game should be more welcoming toward new players. Although bandai doesnt make it easy by barely giving the already players insentives to play and buy there product, it is our role to make the game grow.

Solution- promote your hobby, everything is better and more interesting when there are 5 people to speak on the same subject instead of 2. Bandai should have a section just for NEW players where more experienced players can answer and help. If you call the Q&A section this solution ughhhh I'm sorry for new players lol .

I'll have more time next post for more detail but hopefully the average person can understand my views. So discuss and post if you have any questions or solutions of your own.

I want to make a case saying bandai needs to do this and bandai needs to do that, but the fact is that bandai has been getting better and showing insentive. Tieing the ccg into generations was a huge marking move, do they need to do more? Yes, but that's a heck of a start. Aside from the prizeing and the shaky rulings you can't say bandai isn't trying. I mean the prizeing needs to get a lot better, more cards need to be put into circulation and there has to be a better handle on q&a. That's all true, but can you really say bandai hasn't been trying?

Don't forget banning players for nothing...well the 3rd guy up there which had a small group that would have been attending SJC's, not including myself or the other me since the last event I did deserve an extention 4 attending the event (But not permanently however they are on a role with making right decisions )

possibly but when ur thrown to a 1 year ban 4 what I was being accused of... me being there should have not been a major issue since the other half of the coin was allowed to participate. which I'm not going to get into the whole ban incident since I frankly lost major interest in a dying game. So I think I'm treading well enough.

I'm going to assume you are refering to a violation for entering the event however if not please do tell?

well yeah they could have but there are still certain factors that would have been involved, that is why I made sure the proper person who that belonged to was with me. Anyways since this topic is going off topic as I said by me and Oscar being perma banned decreased overall attendance by 5+ people for average SJC's.
