Mafia I, year 2011
 

It's been a while since we last played Mafia, so is anyone up for bringing it back? For the rules, click here and look at the bottom post. Tbh I'd rather play the game, so if there's someone else who would like to narrate it that'd be great.

Other rules:

1. If you do not post a meaningful post at least every 72 hours (3 days), you will be auto-killed. In other words, posts like, "Posting to stay alive" don't count.
2. Any other rules mostly depend on who the narrator is. If I'm the narrator I would add that those who have been killed are not allowed to post in the game thread until after it is finished.

There is only one player for each of the basic roles except for regular leaf ninjas and regular rogue ninjas. The basic roles are:

Leaf Ninjas

Regular Leaf Ninja - A regular player who has no special abilities

Hokage - During the day phase, you can choose to prevent a player from being killed that phase by PMing the narrator the name of the person you wish to protect. You cannot protect the same person twice in a row.

Medical Ninja - During the night phase, you can choose to prevent a player from being killed that phase by PMinbg the narrator the name of the person you wish to protect. You cannot protect the same person twice in a row.

Anbu - During the night phase, you can PM the narrator the name of a player. At the end of the night phase, you will told that player's role.

Rogue Ninjas

Regular Rogue Ninja - These players know who the other rogue ninjas are and who the akatsuki is. During the night phase they can choose to kill someone by PMing the narrator the name of their target.

Akatsuki - Same as the rogue ninja except when this player investigated by the Anbu, the Anbu will be told that this player is a regular leaf ninja.

Neutral

Bounty Hunter - During the night phase, this player can PM the narrator the name of a player. At the beginning of the next night phase, the narrator will reveal that player's role (except for the akatsuki, who will be revealed as a regular leaf ninja). Then this player can PM the narrator if they wish to kill the player. If not, they can choose to investigate a different player that night phase. The number of special roles this player needs to kill with their ability depends on the narrator. for myself, it will be the number of special roles (besides the bounty hunter) divided by 2 rounded down.

What are you talking about? Besides some of the inactives (and there always is) the last 2 games worked out just fine. Game 3 however was definitely NOT successful.
