13 people showed up. Half were from outta state. :confused:


Round 1 verses Devon with lightning/void:

Game 1
Annoying to play due to suigetsu/human path combo.
Early on in game 1 I payed certain cards as a hand cost not realizing what I was playing. The combo sniped the most important cards. I lost soon after.

Game 2-3 I burnt through the games and rose victorious. Not much to say.

Round 2 verses Lewis G.(Lewis Uchiha) w/water. Can't remember details won 2-1. Excellent player. The last game went short of time.

Game 3 versus Patrick K. (Shido) w/lightning / fire. mental power kept on slowing him down. Well timed moves including mind transfers helped me win 2-1. The game I lost ino(change) milled out everything I needed most.

Round 4 verses Louis R.(soundwave) w/wind fire ji.

Game 1. I opened shiho and missed drop 1. By turn 3 he dropped two ji's and it was gg

Game two I got ji'd via sasori. He flashpointed and next turn I mind transferred his hiroku of which I flashpointed. For him the game very slowly went downhill. Game three he drew horribly and consistency was an issue. I crushed him for the victory.

I take top seed into top 8.


Round 5 verses Adam? He challenged every move I did basically unsuccessfully. Alliance remember is that the judge spent as much time at the table as away. I can't remember his deck but I exited victorious.

Top 4/round 6. Versus Cory with fire/water ji.

He ji'd an[dire situation] itachi :confused:.
I won that game and the next.

Top 2 versus Patrick again. These games dragged out longer(or so it seemed). Details are fuzzy since I've been awake for near 30 hours by now. But I won game one. He had game 2. game three (saitsu) this was the only game ino(ch) made an major impact. I sided into revitalize. (Also did that versus Louis R. Though it didn't matter.). I ended up victorious. Everytime he killed off yamato I played another. XD.

Hearing Lewis say I should've split round 2 to help him top, on the way home.
Generations for ps3 since I own Xbox 360. Oh well, I'll trade it into to get UNS3.

no fog this time
Inadvertently eating most if Patrick's slimjims. Seriously brings a ten pack as snacking for a 7hour round trip for 4 (even if there was other stuff). I'm thankfully though.

cons

losing to chester bond 2wice. **** early game mental slowed my trashing of every deck i came across. i made them look silly out there. game 1 i beat chester game 1 since his details are crap... and game 2 he won on the brink with a tree spam which he sided into .. and game 3 we were both so tired i miss played like a champ and he was putting yamatos into play with out paying hand cost 3 times .. so yeah ... i also paid wrong cost for a mission so lack quality in that final game 3 is only thing i regret about the tournament.


also incase anyone cares and i doubt it. the reason that "lewis" told chester he should of given him the game is because all the buffalo guys then would have gone 3-1 all toping 4 for max prizing but chester doesnt comprehend ....robot brain

It was a long day. Even Russel didn't notice our errors. When I was done I had to go back to work. I think I slept for 20 minutes on the way home.

Also my apologies for not saying the m&m count was low. I didn't not have no 9 slimjims though. Maybe 6 at most.XD

Also I could not risk handing a game to possibly lose out on the elusive tp2. :rolleyes:
