Can Nakara stop a client effect?
 
Me and my friend were playing and we ended in this awkward situation where he claimed that c059 combined with n1370 wouldn't allow me to attack even though I had n1100 out on the field on an even.

So my question is, can n1100 stop c059's effect or because c059 is a client I can't stop his effect?
