Series 25 Preview “Sand Anbu (N-1479)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

“Sand Anbu (N-1479)” is a welcomed addition to the Naruto CCG “Puppet” Deck. Not only does this “Anbu” possess the valuable “Manipulation” Combat Attribute that many “Puppet” Ninjas and Jutsus look for, but his effects strongly compliment the Decks swarm style.

This Turn 3 Ninja has three unique effects, the first of which is Non-Unique, this keyword allows you to play him even even if you already have Ninjas of the same name in play.

His second ability grants all the “Puppet” Ninja cards in your Chakra area the “AMBUSH” Characteristics that allows them to be deployed from the Chakra Area. Combined with “Chiyo (N-1418)” and you’ll ensure that you will never run out of “Puppet” Ninjas to play with.

Finally, his third ability allows you to rush him into play if you have 4 or more “Puppet” Ninjas in your Village, this synergies perfectly with the rushing power of “Puppets” and their game finisher “Sasori (Puppet Mode) (N-1330)”.

This fantastic new Ninja can be found in the Set 25 “Sand Sibling” Theme Deck, so make sure to check it out!

Series 25 Preview “Epidemic Prevention Officer (N-1474)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

“Epidemic Prevention Officer (N-1474)” is a brand-new Turn 0 Wind Ninja that’s a perfect fit for any Deck. This Ninja makes a great Back Ninja with its 2 Support while healthy and 1 Support while injured.

However, this “Medical” Ninja works best while he is in your hand. By removing him from game you can heal any Ninja during either Mission Phase or Exchange of Jutsu.

This versatile ability can put one of your Ninjas back into peak conditions, re-enable non-Valid effects which are turned off while a NInja is injured, or used on your opponent’s Ninjas that get stronger while injured (Naruto) to give you the chance of scoring a game changing Outstanding Victory.

This fantastic new Ninja can be found in the Set 25 “Sand Sibling” Theme Deck, so make sure to check it out!

Series 25 “Ino-Shika-Cho” Theme Deck List

Series 25 Sage’s Legacy contains two awesome Starter Decks that are ready to play right out of the box. Today we look the ”Ino-Shika-Cho” Theme Deck, this Earth Deck focuses on Team Asuma, and out maneuvers other Decks with two impressive strategies.

The first focus of this Starter Deck are its Nara Clan Ninjas. When the battle looks bleak they can change the tide of the battle by changing it into a “Mental Power Battle”. Mental Power battles use the Team’s total Mental Power values instead of Combat and Support values, and the best part is Earth Ninjas are some of the smartest Ninjas around.

The second focus is on its lineup of epic Permanent Missions cards. Playing Missions gain your Chakra for future Jutsus, but these cards can also allow you to draw new cards, amp up all your Ninjas, or even start Mental Power Battles! The best part is that many of the Ninajs and Jutsus in this Starter Deck can combo with your Missions for an even stronger winning edge.

So checkout the the “Ino-Shika-Cho” Theme Deck List and come back on Friday to see its fantastic Starter Super Rare.

Series 25 Preview “Naruto Uzumaki (N-1453)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

Today’s last preview come from the Series 25 “Sand Siblings” Theme Deck, no Starter would be complete without an appearance from Naruto or Sasuke. This Starter has its very own Naruto, let’s see how he stacks up!

This Shippuden Naruto is a Turn 3 Ninja card, with the usual “Clone Status” Characteristic, “Oil” Combat Attribute, and both the Lightning and Wind Symbols.

What makes this Naruto different from the rest of the pack is his monstrous Combat values. While healthy, Naruto has 5 Combat which is strong for a Turn 3 Ninja, but injure him and his angry bumps him to a whooping 8 Combat. Comat this high is normally reserved for Turn 6 Ninjas like Tsunade.

Every positive is not without its negative, and each Ninja in your Village holds Naruto back by lowering his combat by -1 for each of them.

Naruto works best when he works alone, and while making a Deck to take advantage of having few Ninjas in play may seem hard (possibly Anbu?), it will still be fun to see this Naruto rampage around in a Starter Deck tournaments where he is still a force to be reckoned with.

Make sure to visit the forums and share your own opinions on today’s previews.

Tomorrow will be the Series 25 “Ino-Shika-Cho” Theme Deck list, but if you want to see what the Starter Exclusive Super Rare is for this and the other Starter…well you’ll have to wait till Friday for that.
