Series 25 Preview “Sasuke Uchiha (N-1443)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

“Sasuke Uchiha (N-1443)” adds additional Support to many Decks including the new multi-Symbol Decks.

Sasuke has is usual high Combat stats, and in this incarnation he has both the Fire and Water Symbols; but it’s his two excellent effects that make him excel!

His first effect triggers if you control a Lightning Ninja, if so he amps up all your Ninjas by +2 Combat which can turn the tides of battle for a turn.

Sasuke’s second effect is extra handy for setting up your next draw, and it does this by manipulating the top 4 cards of your Deck to the top or bottom of your Deck in any order. The only requirement is that you have at least one other Water Ninja in play.

Together each effect is good but if you meet both conditions you can get both when Sasuke enters play and that makes him awesome!

Series 25 Preview “Sai (N-1454)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

Series 25 helps many different Deck types, including the fast swarming and very unique Ink Deck that has been welding up with power these past few Sets. This set is no different bringing you 3 Lightning Ninjas that assist this budding Deck’s power.

Finally we have the Ink master himself, Sai! This Anbu Ninja has the smarts (Mental Power: 2) and the power (a solid 4/3 for a Turn 4 Ninja). But what makes him comparable to other Sai is that upon deployment he comes into play with 2 “Ink” Ninjas from your Discard Pile or Chakra area. And as any seasoned Naruto player knows the only thing more important than card advantage is field presence, and this Sai delivers the goods!

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

Up next is Sai’s ever handy Ink Bat, not only does it protect him from the rain but “Ink Bat (N-1458)” also contains the synonymous Non-Unique, and self put in play that all the Ink Ninjas have.

However, its 3rd effect can combo intoa game changer. It makes Sai as well as all you Ninjas into “Ink” Ninjas. Well what does that do!? Well…those extra couple Ninjas may be just what you need to win the game when you combo it with Series 24′s “Ink Eagle (N-1391)” to score those last few Battle Rewards, so check it out!

Series 25 Preview “Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, & Choji Akimichi (N-1486)”

Tri-Squad #2Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

Finally we have the other Set 25 Starter Super Rares which can be found in “Ino-Shika-Cho” Theme Deck. Tri-Squad Ninjas work the same as normal “Squad” Ninjas, to play them you must select Ninja(s) that include those listed in its name from your Village and remove them from the game. At the cost of 3 prominent Earth Ninjas you gain a Turn 4 Squad Ninja with ravishing power and abilities.

First off this Tri-Squad has all the Combat Attributes of the Ninjas that form it, as well as the Characteristics of the “Genin” Ninjas depicted on it. This Ninja has an above average Support value of 5 which makes it an ideal Support Ninja.

Possessing a Mental Power of 6 means a Mental Power Battle will likely cause your opponent’s Team to receive an Outstanding Defeat (and a splitting headache to boot!)

But the reason you’ll be playing “Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, & Choji Akimichi (N-1486)” is because of its effect. Each and every time you play a card such as a Jutsu, Ninja, Client, or Mission you get to choose a Ninja and injure it. If that card wasn’t an card with an Earth symbol then that Ninja’s Power becomes 0 for the turn instead.
