Series 25 Preview “Scorpion (N-1482)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

Next up is the newest Puppet in Kankuro’s arsenal – “Scorpion (N-1482)”. This Turn 6 “Puppet” Ninja has great Combat (6) and Support (4) stats but without a “Manipulation” Ninja it becomes a powerless Ninja with 0 stats all around.

However, if you do have a “Manipulation” Ninja in play and one that is a “Puppet Master” then you not only get a powerful Ninja but also get to search your Deck for any Jutsu card with “Puppet” in its requirements and add it to your hand. What to grab though? Maybe our last preview of the day will provide such an answer….

Series 25 Preview “Sneak Attack (M-912)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

We start off our last Wind previews today with a “Sneak Attack (M-912)” Mission card for the Wind symbol. Puppet decks will rejoice as this Mission is as simple as it is deadly, capable of taking out any Ninja; however, to take out a Ninja you have to search your Deck for “Puppet” Ninja cards and discard the same number equal to the target’s Entrance cost. Remember if you response to a Ninja’s put in play effect and remove it before it’s effect resolves, the effect will fail.

“Sneak Attack (M-912)” not only thins your Deck for the amazing benefit of discarding an enemy Ninja, but it has great synergy with cards like “Sasori (Puppet Mode) (N-1330)” and “Ebizo (N-663)” to swarm your opponent’s field!

Series 25 Preview “Untold Destruction (M-889)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

Our last preview today is the devastating “Untold Destruction (M-889)” Mission card for the Earth symbol. Like its counterpart it is a Turn 5 Permanent Mission that comes into play with 5 coins, and just like “Exhaustion (M-888)” you can remove coins during your Mission Phase to garner an effect.

This time instead of removing Chakra you can remove a Ninja whose Entrance cost is less than or equal to the number of coins you removed, and just like “Exhaustion (M-888)” those Ninjas return once the Mission leaves play so keep the flame alive with Ninjas like “Zetsu (N-1430)” and “Kurotsuchi (N-1434)”.

Series 25 Preview “Exhaustion (M-888)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

Up next are two very powerful late game Missions for Earth. First up is “Exhaustion (M-888)”, this Turn 5 Permanent Mission comes into play with 4 coins; however, you can remove a coin during your turn to remove any 2 Chakra from the game. The downside of this Mission is if it is removed from play, in which all the Chakra it exhausted away return to their owner’s Chakra area, so keep the exhaustion going with Ninjas like “Zetsu (N-1430)” and “Kurotsuchi (N-1434)”.

Series 25 Preview “Wood Style: Four Pillar House Jutsu (J-922)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

Up next is one of Yamato’s signature Jutus, the “Wood Style: Four Pillar House Jutsu (J-922)”. This Earth and Water Jutsu require the user to have the “Tree” Combat Attribute like the 1st Hokage and Yamato. The power of this entrapment Jutsu increases depending on how much you pay for it.

If you pay the minimal 2 Earth Chakra, you can make any Ninja on the Battlefield a Stand-by Ninja.

If instead you opt to pay 1 Earth Chakra, 1 Water Chakra, and 1 Chakra of any Symbol you turn the basic “Howl (J-657)” like effect in a pseudo-“Earth Style: Headhunter Jutsu (J-021)” makes all other Ninjas in the target’s Team Stand-by instead and more than likely scoring you a Outstanding Victory!

Sit boy!
