Series 26 “Revitalize” Mechanic Preview

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 26 Avenger’s Wrath.

This amazing new set brings five unique game mechanics to the Naruto CCG. The fifth and final of these is “Revitalize.” This keyword captures rebirth and cyclical nature of the show.

In the Naruto CCG, the “Revitalize” mechanic finds its home with the Earth symbol. A symbol which is synonymous with Ninjas like the 1st Hokage, Yamato, and Team Asuma; but what does it do? Well let’s take a look at an example of a “Revitalize” Ninja card.

As you can read, cards with “Revitalize” never really leave you and always return home to their owner’s Deck. With “Shikamaru Nara (N-1494),” he can potentially draw you a card each time he is sent out to Battle, and even if you don’t draw a card you mill the top 3 card of your Deck (potentially triggering those card’s “Revitalize”) and setting up future draws.

Series 26 “Flashpoint” Mechanic Preview

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 26 Avenger’s Wrath.

This amazing new set brings five unique game mechanics to the Naruto CCG. The fourth of these is “Flashpoint.” This keyword captures the shows’ climax and breaking points.

In the Naruto CCG, the “Flashpoint” mechanic finds its home with the Wind symbol. A symbol which is synonymous with Ninjas like those from the Sand whose entrance into the fray can shift the tides of battle; but what does it do? Well let’s take a look at an example of a “Flashpoint” Ninja card.

As you can read, Ninjas with “Flashpoint” capitalize on the Wind symbol’s numerous put in play (pip) effects. With “Hotaru Katsuragi (N-1540),” she allows you to filter through your Deck when she is put in play by drawing you a card and then having you discard a card. However, with “Flashpoint” she can then flash out of play and return at the start of the next turn and once again trigger her pip effect!

Series 26 “Burst” Mechanic Preview

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 26 Avenger’s Wrath.

This amazing new set brings five unique game mechanics to the Naruto CCG. The third of these is “Burst.” This keyword captures the shows’ over eccentric Ninjas like Might Guy and Naruto.

In the Naruto CCG, the “Burst” mechanic finds its home with the Lightning symbol. A symbol which is synonymous with Ninjas whose ferocity can change on a dime; but what does it do? Well let’s take a look at an example of a “Burst” Ninja card.

As you can read, Ninjas with “Burst” become wickedly powerful the turn they enter play, by simply revealing the top card of your Deck the power of a “Burst” Ninja is amplified to whatever Entrance cost that revealed card is shown to be. With “Naruto Uzumaki (N-1517),” he could become a 9 Combat Ninja on Turn 1 if you reveal a Turn 7 Ninja card from the top of your Deck, and with cards like Shiho such a feat is definitely within the realm of possibility!

Updated “Clash (PR-060)” Effect

The ever changing ”Clash (PR-060)” Mission card has received a new effect for Series 25.

Ever wanted to decimate your hand, but don’t feel like playing Earth or Wind, well share int he pain and you can easily wipe out 4 cards in your opponent’s hand in a single blow.

Series 26 “Desperation” Mechanic Preview

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 26 Avenger’s Wrath.

This amazing new set brings five unique game mechanics to the Naruto CCG. The second of these is “Desperation.” This keyword captures the shows’ theme of Ninjas pushing themselves beyond their limits when their backs are against the proverbial wall.

In the Naruto CCG, the “Desperation” mechanic finds its home with the Water symbol. A symbol which is synonymous with Ninjas that reach higher states of power like State 2 or Susano’o; but what does it do? Well let’s take a look at an example of a “Desperation” Ninja card.

As you can read, Ninjas with “Desperation” become twice as effective once your opponent has hit you for 5 or more Battle Rewards. In these dark depths of desperation these Ninjas can tap into a new power and use their Activated Abilities up to twice a turn. With “Kisame Hoshigaki (N-1534),” his effect will now allow you do drain your opponent of 2 Chakras each turn!
