THE BANDAI FOUNDATION

The Bandai Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to supporting charities that improve the environment in which American families and children live and play. Through charitable donations and gifts, the Bandai Foundation provides executive leadership and corporate sponsorship to community-based projects and programs throughout the United States that focus on the health and welfare of children.

The Bandai Foundation was established in 1995 by Bandai America as a way to give back to the community that has made its products so successful in the United States.

Recent Activities:
Bandai America is a contributor to the Toy Industry Association's Toy Bank, the first industry-wide program of its kind. The program services charities in North America so that underprivileged, homeless and at-risk children can obtain newly manufactured toys. Recently, the Toy Bank has focused on assisting the relief efforts in the areas devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

Partnerships:
The Bandai Foundation has regularly contributed to many worthy causes including: The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Starlight Children's Foundation International, Toys "R" Us Children's Fund, the Children's Health Fund and other local non-profit organizations.

Founded:
The Bandai Foundation was initially endowed with more than $10 million by Bandai America and continues to be funded through private donors and yearly endowments from the company.
